The crying, the hustling, the money, the time you spent on getting where you want to get with your goal(s). How much can you take. Hang it up but, you can’t because you still have plenty of emotions left. You have the push, the talent, the gift, you have yourself, and most of all you will always have the teardrops. Teardrops are one of the most important things on getting were you want to get in life and to achieve your goal(s). Without the teardrops you don’t have the push to get back up and do it again but, with teardrops comes something special, and that is you. Every special person has teardrops, how you go about letting them fall depends on you. Footwork, steps, spins, dance moves and more are just some of your personalities that are starting to show. Circle Dancing 2:

You think you got what it takes to make the move to make yourself loose your breath and have your heart stop beating. Take the step, breath in the music and exhale the movements. Get lost in the lights and have the crowd give you the direction to move around. Can’t see a thing but, can hear the clapping and cheering of the crowd which leads the way home. Home, in the middle of the circle. Nothing is better than this feeling, showing everyone at that moment that “the floor is all yours”.

Spotlight 2:
Your hands are sweating, your breathing seems to stop and start again. Your eyes begin to travel across the horizon, all you know is that you can’t see and you are being blinded by a glare. You move different directions to escape the light but, it’s doesn’t help. So you begin to elaborated on your movements hoping that it will block the light or make it go away but, it doesn’t. You think to yourself, if I stop maybe it will go away. As you begin to slow down and continue to stop, the glare seems to dissipate and you notice a landscape of people far and away. Suddenly a smile comes across your face; showing everyone and the spotlight that “the floor is all yours”.

There will be times when will be smack in the face with your talent(s). It will be telling us to hang it up. To stop doing what we excel at. When we present our talent(s) it comes from the inside. You have to be at the level where you present your talent(s) and you look behind you, you can actually see yourself standing their for a moment. To bring your inner self out of you, is not a feeling everyone can feel or understand. Only people like you can understand this and this feeling will never die. So if situations get rough and/or you want to quit, you have to put yourself back in that moment and stay ahead of yourself by having your inner self lead the way, and show everyone “the floor is all yours.”

Circle dancers getting in your face and urging you to compete, as you step in the middle of the floor a layer of skills and styles pour all over your body. The best place to be in a venue with great music and great dancers, with one love and a great vibe, and ending it off with a handshake.

What makes a good dancer 1:

Performing dance moves doesn’t make you a good dancer, having dance moves help. I seen a lot of dancers that do nothing but dance moves and are not in rhythm. Being in rhythm makes a good dancer. Let you tell you something, as long as you are in rhythm you are a good dancer, having other assets(moves) helps.

But you have to learn to dance before you can incorporate anything. This is a business, you start as a sole proprietorship then work your way up to incorporating. Remember you always want to be in beat, have a smile and show everyone “The Floor Is All Yours”.

When you have no emotions, right there and then you can’t be stop. Every onlooker has your emotions. Wow. Have you ever been in the middle of the dance circle or on the stage, you are so on point that you are giving your goosebumps goosebumps. The sweat is retracting back into your body and nothing can stop you. Every on looker absorbs what you are doing. Wow what a feeling. Now that is what makes a good dancer, by having everyone absorb your vision, smell, taste, touch, hearing and showing them the floor is all yours.

As you stand in a stationary position surrounded by all these people, you are so alone not knowing what to do or how to feel. Your body is cramping up and the sweat is starting to pour out like leaky faucet. You heart starts to pound and pound, harder and louder it starts to mess with your hearing, and all you hear is nothing but, thumb thumb, thumb thumb!

Goosebumps start to surround your body and evolve from every thump thump, thump thump; your body begins to shiver like being outside in a cold rainy day.

Your breathing becomes shorter and shorter. You take a step forward and the relief over your body becomes so overwhelming you don’t have control of it but, to accompany it. Wow! You don’t know what to do and what you are doing but, what every it is you are showing everyone “The Floor Is All Yours”.

As you stop you can’t believe you did what you did, and the thump thump that your were hearing is being over driven by the clap clap, clap clap. Don’t let anyone, anything, or any noise stop you from what you want to do and go out and push yourself, and be that entertainer that you stand their to be.

A dancer’s View 2:

A dance is a lifetime. If you could re-live your life how would you dance your lifetime. Traveling across the floor and absorbing movements from the all the people, lights and the sounds around you causes you to become injected into the song. The song being played seems to last forever along with the smile portraying from your face. As you step and move to the music you progress more and more closer to the other side not knowing where you will end up but, you don’t care as long as you reach the other end. As the music stops, you realize people start to surround you like you are being viewed at a funeral. You notice that you are not dead, and you are only being applauded by the audience to keep going. As you look around you notice you are in the middle of the circle and you are only halfway there. You realize you have more to show and “The Floor Is All Yours”.

So dance your lifetime and don’t let anything be your halfway mark.

Everyone is in a trance from what you are saying. You look up and everyone is dancing from what you are saying. They are all enjoying the music coming out of the speakers and the lights to follow the beat. Right there and then you know “The Floor Is All Yours”. You say to yourself, I brought all types of people together; sex and race, there is no drama and everyone is smiling; nothing is more powerful than a DISC JOCKEY.

The d.j. spins a song and all of the sudden you can’t move from the music. Goosebumps take over your body. Your hair on your arms start to rise and you get the chills. You have trouble breathing and gasp for air and realize “the floor is all yours”.

Everyone comes across this no matter what their talent is. You have to realize you are the only one that can push yourself to this moment. Continuing from July.....

You never want to accommodate your talent, if you do then you are not challenging yourself. You always want to progress to the next step. It's not the experience you been threw it's how you challenge yourself to get to the next level. You always want to try, you rather fail at trying; than failing to try. You will have people laugh at you but, at least you are doing what you want to do. Most people don't even get that far. You might end up spending all your finances on your talent and don't have anything to show for it. This if fine because, what you get in return is more than what you can show. You will find out so much about yourself and how you deal with certain situations, good and bad.

If you believe in yourself and your talent it will be so emotional that sometimes it will be overwhelming. You want to breath and live your goal and talent. You want to inhale the smell and taste of your talent and goal; and exhale the success of what you achieve.

There will not be a day that goes by that you won't think of your goal or talent. Anyone can do anything, you just have to push yourself. You almost have to push yourself until you want to cry. Then the teardrops start. This is when you start tasting something you have not tasted. What you will taste is how great you are at your talent. And no one can tell you that you are not good at what you do or tell you that you will not achieve your goal. You know right there and then that you will make it; make your goal and be what you want to be, and that is a gift.

Some words or phases you will come across that will try to stop you from reaching your goal(s). Use them to your advantage, and turn them around and make them an asset:

I quit, No, I am not good at anything else, You are over qualified, What else am I good at...More coming soon

Follow this dream. It's not to late to start. If you are starting out. It takes a lot of dedication. You will come across paths that will want to stop you. Don't stop. Keep pushing yourself. I will tell you that you will come across a lot of negative people and things. When you come across this you have to know how to handle this, and use it in a way were it will turn out to be a positive thing.

Their are going to be times were you are going to say I want to quit. You can't do this if this is something you want to do. You have to say to yourself this is something I live for and want; and I have this dream.

Everyone has a talent, some people want to use that talent and make it their dream, and some want to use it as a hobby or etc. But it doesn't matter, every person has a talent. Some different than others. You might sit around and say I have a talent and it is going to waste. Or you could say being good at something is a bad thing. Maybe because, you can't get a gig or get notice. You have to push yourself all the time. Your talent will not go to waste if you are using it to achieve your goal.

You are going to come across people that are better than you. Don't be afraid of this. Learn from them. They might even help you out. Remember someone is always better. So don't get ahead of yourself and think you are better than everyone. Remember where you started. If people come to you and ask certain things I would recommend on suggesting ways on taking their talent to the next step.

Be your best at the talent. Sooner or later you will achieve the goal. Going through the years with your talent you will learn so many different aspects about yourself and other people. Who to trust and who not to trust and a lot more. It will be overwhelming. You might forget more than you learn.

Their are going to be times when people like to be notice. This means people might have to step on something or someone. In this case people might step on you to get notice. You will get a lot of this. People will put you down to push themselves up. Don't let this stop you.

You will have some tough times. Being in the entertainment field is very difficult. Especially when you might have to do most of the work by yourself. Sometimes the work will get overwhelming, and you will want to quit. Their are going to be a lot of times when you say this about your talent(s). (I want to quit, what else am I good at, I can't do anything else). When you say this stop and say to yourself. (Their are a few words I will come across and when I come across these words I should use them to my advantage. Use the word(s) as a asset for my goal(s) and talent(s). (some of those words should be: I quit, what else am I good at, I am not good at anything else, no).

I danced at many different venues at different cities and seen a lot of great dancers and know a lot of great dancers. Each city I travel threw I came across some great dancers and vibes. Here is my option on the vibes of the dancers and city.

Philadelphia:

Having Philly being stuck in the middle of other cities (New York, Atlantic City, Baltimore) sometimes this city has to prove itself. Philadelphia has overcome much in the past and will in the future. It had it's up and downs over the years. It's a city that will never be overrated. Their are some cities which are overrated for no reason. Philadelphia will always be a city to look out for.

(Dancing in the philly scene for over 17 years).

- Some of the best dancers around. Philly doesn't get as much respect as it should. I am not saying this because I am from the city. Philly has a lot of talent. Not just dancers but other entertainers.

The dancers in the city are very talented. If you dance in the city you might come across some competition. You have to remember philly is stuck in the middle of other cities that are trying to take it's place, so don't let this push you away.

In this video notice the footwork. In the beginning I do a foot combination. Toe Heel over foot combination ending it off (what I like to call ankle blows) basically a combinations of toe heels hits but hard on the ankles. Also you will notice a combination I call no place like home combination. When you notice the feet touch at the heels then point out then touch at the toes then point in. (This is not the real combination but a quick combination).

The footwork in this video is basic. This is a basic start on starting out with some steps.

Also notice the spins. The spins in the video are basic. They are a good way to start out and progress into something else.

- Try getting emails and building a email database.

- Get dance magazines and in the magazines they might have numbers or address of dance studios through out the nation. Mail out your resume or portfolio to these companies. But just be careful some studios don't like this. This is one way of getting your name out in the public eye.

Clean bathroom(s):

(I feel the better the bathroom the better the vibe. I see a cleaner bathroom is a increase in sales for the venue).

- Some women base the venue on the bathroom. If they go to the bathroom and do not feel safe; and the bathroom is not clean or very dark most likely they will not come back to the venue. I feel by having a clean bathroom will help with repeat customers and sales.

Doormen and women:

- having professional doormen and women are good. The customers see these people first and last when arriving and leaving the venue(s). Basically this is the first impression someone will get about the venue. So having someone greeting you with good manners is a good thing. You don't want to push people away. Also when someone leaves, this is the last impression someone will get about the venue.

Freelance Dancing:

- Freestyle dancing is a mixture of different aspects of dancing into one. For example, different types of dance styles into one. (house, break, trance, social and more into one).

Freestyle Dancing:

- Some people have a different outlook on this. I consider freestyle dancing a mixture of dance moves, spins, effects, body movements steps, footwork, trick, acrobatic and more into one. I do not consider this a structure dance as much as freelance dancing.

- I consider myself as an freelance/freestyler dancer.

Circle Dancing:

- The concept of dancing in the middle of a circle, surrounded by onlookers.

Mesmerizing Motions:

- It's a movement that you see and become mesmerize from what you witness.

The Wall Effect: Performing the move open back; a signature dance move establish by Michael Fry

Please do not perform this move unless you are a professional.

Performing this move when the wall is on the right side of you.

This move requires a lot of upper body strength.

If you are a beginner:

1. Stand with the wall on the right about an arm lenght away.

2. Once you are ready; bend down and jump up but at the same time jump at the wall.

3. Once you are in midair stretch your arms out until both hands are on the wall. By doing this you will have to arch your back like you are doing a sideways handstand.

4. Now that you are on the wall, you have to hold that position for a second or two for a nice looking freeze, once you do this push off the wall with your hands and land on your feet.

Once you do this you performed the open back.

Reverse the steps if you perform the move with the wall on the left.
